Institute of Java & Technological Studies (IJTS), is the pioneering, largest and the institute in Sri Lanka to commence training on Java technology to prepare students for the Sun Certified Java Programmer Examination which is conducted by Sun Microsystems USA. It was established in the year 2003 and is the only institute in Sri Lanka having accreditation from the Chamber of Chartered Java Professionals (CCJP) and the Sun Certified Java Professionals' Association (SCJPA).

Fusion is Sarvodaya's information and communication technology for development (ICT4D) movement. Founded in 1958, Sarvodaya is Sri Lanka's largest nonprofit organization. Initiated in 2006, Fusion brings together and expands a decade of Sarvodaya ICT4D activities, including telecentres, learning resource centres, mobile IT units, virtual villages, and village information centres. Fusion works in five program areas — telecentres, knowledge empowerment, social enterprise, research and development, and partnership building — using a holistic and participatory approach to social and economic development.

The Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) is affiliated to the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and has one the best MBA programs in Sri Lanka. PIM also offers a range of executive programs based around MBA modules. These can be of two to three months duration and open to anyone who meets the basic MBA entry requirements. Individual Advanced management certificates are available for these courses.

IDM has established a wide branch network within Sri Lanka with the expectation of providing high quality training and education in the field of ICT. IDM Computer Studies Islandwide has been setup with BOI assistance to take computer education and training into the rural areas of Sri Lanka.
