topjobs is an online recruitment system used by employers to list their vacancies online and also handle online applications from jobseekers. topjobs completes and automates the entire recruitment cycle, and gives an electronic 'back-office' to make recruitment easy, fast and efficient.

If you are a job seeker, looking for your first job, or considering a career change, then topjobs is perfect for you! You can browse or search for vacancies and apply online immediately. Your application will be sent straight-through to the HR team of topjobs registered employers. They will contact you if you're shortlisted.

If you are an employer, then topjobs will give you a complete and comprehensive electronic recruitment platform, for online vacancy advertising, and for automating the recruitment process in a totally paperless environment. Registered employers get their own topjobs Home Page where they can list vacancies and also provide information on the benefits of working for the company.

Jobseeker registration is free. You can register easily by clicking 'Sign Up' on the Home Page. Once you have registered with us, you can use your account to apply for jobs available at all registered companies. You can submit seperate profiles to different companies if required and monitor the status of your applications.

Yes you can apply for any number of vacancies advertised by a company.

Yes you can view the status of your application once you have submitted it. There will be an indication as to what stage your application is currently in. (eg: Applied, Short Listed, Offered the Job / Not Successful)

Yes - you can edit your profile at any time by logging in to your account. You can login to your account from the topjobs home page. Once you have logged in, you can select and edit a profile that you have with any company.

Yes you can upload your CV in .doc, .pdf, .rtf, .txt, .jpg, .gif, .tif or .png format. You can also upload your photograph in .jpg, .gif, .tif or .png format.

When you apply for a vacancy, you can do two things to present your application to the employer. First, you can upload your CV, and other documents such as application cover letter and photographs, testimonials etc. So applying through topjobs is no different to a traditional application - by email or post - but the difference is that you will benefit from the additional features of the topjobs recruitment system - such as straight through processing, and employer feedback information etc. Your application is stored immediately in a database, so there is no chance of getting lost in the post, or getting blocked by a spam filter.

Secondly, you can fill out a standardised application profile that has been customised by each employer. Although filling out a profile is optional, it highly reccommended, because the employer will be using the profile to compare you with other applicants. So please put as much information as you can into your profile.

It is not absolutely necessary to fill in all the sections. However it is highly advisable that you fill in important sections such as Education, Qualifications and Professional Experience, to clearly show the employer the information which is vital to evaluate your application.

The system uses the information in the profile to do candidate matching, and ranking, and there are also several comparision reports in the employer's recruitment back-office that compares candidates against each other using the profiles. So fill out the profile to the best of your ability to improve the quality of your application.

Register and create an account by clicking the ‘Join topjobs’ link on the homepage. After completing the registration you will be guided to your workspace. Click on the link 'All vacancies' and then select 'Closed' vacancies to list expired vacancies.

Your application and peronal details will be treated in the strictest of confidence. Your information can only be viewed by authorised users of employers you have registered with. No third parties can access your application.

Once you have registered with topjobs your information can be viewed only by you. Your information cannot be viewed by any registered employers of topjobs or by the general public. However, the moment you apply for a vacancy, the information contained in your application, which can include your CV and other personal details, will be visible - but to ONLY the companies you have applied to.
