The Job

Your primary job role would be to coordinate and ensure that the monthly budgeted sales of your account is met through timely deliveries of fabric. You would be expected to monitor the sales forecast and take necessary actions to meet the same. Further, you would be expected to ensure that the delivery targets are met as per the plan / delivery schedules. You would also need to coordinate between the Buyer and Brandix Textiles to facilitate the functioning of smooth completion of your orders. You would be expected to interact with the buyer, understand their requirements and then coordinate for the sample development and bulk deliveries. Your close interaction with the buyer and other internal and external bodies will definitely be important in fulfilling your responsibilities. You would also play a key role in coordinating for new developments with the product development team when required and analyzing the historical data with the Divisional Manager in order to prepare and present the annual budget.

 

The Person

You should have passed the GCE A’ Level Examination and should hold a Diploma / Certificate in Textile Technology / Marketing or Merchandising from a reputed institute. A minimum of 2-3 years work experience in a similar capacity would be advantageous.  Possessing computer skills and good communication skills is mandatory.  You should be a team player with good team management skills and should be self motivated. You should have the ability to co-ordinate between all relevant parties and build excellent relationships with the other teams. You will display time management and skill prioritization capabilities and will be able to effectively work under pressure. You will be proactive, assertive and forward thinking.
