Central Bank of Sri Lanka invites applications for the following positions in the Poverty Alleviation Micro-Finance Project-II (PAMP-II) on contract basis

 

Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) implements the Poverty Alleviation Micro-Finance Project II (PMP II) on behalf of the Government of Sri Lanka (GOSL) in the Districts of Jaffna, Kilinochchi, Mulaitivu, Mannar, Vavuniya, Trincomalee, Batticaloa, Ampara, Puttalam, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Badulla, Monaragala and Ratnapura during period from 2009 to 2013.

 

PAMP II now has several opportunities in its Central Project Officer (CPO) in Colombo for professionals to join PAMP team as

  • Credit Consultant
  • Training Specialist
  • Marketing Specialist
  • Monitoring Specialist

The objective of the PAMP II is to improve income level of the poor and enhance an inclusive formal financial service for them by providing credit for income generating activities, improving management and training capacity of Participating Financial Institutions and Agencies, and increasing income generation opportunities and skill development of beneficiaries, with a view of contributing to alleviating poverty, mitigating regional inequity and supporting peace building.

 

Central Project Office (CPO) of the PAMP II is located in Colombo and five project Regional Offices (PROs) are to be established in (i) Jaffna (ii) Vavuniya (iii) Anuradhapura (iv) Batticaloa and (v) Moneragala to cover the North, North Central, Eastern and Uva Provinces

 

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications for each positions, terms and conditions of employment and prescribed applications for each positions could be obtained from CBSL website www.cbsl.gov.lk . Selection Procedure

 

Selections are made on the basis of one or more interviews
